PUBLIC NOTICE

Temporary closure of Cob Lane, West Hoathly CP, 22nd November 2021

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that from the date specified below, West Sussex County Council has temporarily closed to all traffic Cob Lane, West Hoathly CP, in the Mid Sussex District under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, on Cob Lane for a distance approx 140 metres

The temporary closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd November 2021 for up to 5 days (It is estimated to be completed on 26th November 2021) and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while South East Water undertakes 24hr Road Closure between the junctions of Hook Lane to Selsfield Road with works taking place approx.230m south of the entrance to Pickeridge Farm to install a new cusotmer connection

The restriction will be in place 24hrs

Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
